MiBytes @ the MEZ is a set of computer science summer camps intended for high school students from Detroit-area schools. The camps take place at the Michigan Engineering Zone (MEZ) suite in the University of Michigan's Detroit Center facility on Woodward Avenue.
Each of the two immersive, hands-on camps offered this summer has been designed by faculty at the University of Michigan with the goal of engaging, educating, and inspiring students who are curious about CS and its impact. While at camp, students will have the opportunity to learn from faculty, interact with current Michigan undergraduate CS students, and learn to design and build working apps for mobile devices.
Learning about computer science and how to use computational thinking can help provide new opportunities for students. Come to MiBytes @ the MEZ and join the computer revolution!
