Do I need any programming experience to attend MiBytes?

No programming experience is required for Tinkering with Mobile Apps I. Students who register for Tinkering with Mobile Apps II should have some programming experience or should first take Tinkering with Mobile Apps I.



Is MiBytes a residential summer camp?

No, MiBytes is a non-residential, commuter program only.



Who will be teaching the programs?

Marcus Darden, a University of Michigan computer science and engineering lecturer, will be the main instructor for the camp. Undergraduate computer science students from the University of Michigan will be assisting the instructors to facilitate the programs and provide more individualized attention to the students. All students will be screened and trained in education to provide a safe and effective learning experience.



What are the camp hours?

The camp session runs Monday – Thursday 9am – 4pm. We ask that campers arrive at 8:30am on the first day of the camp session for registration.



How much does it cost to attend MiBytes?
